Upper Galilee;

A visit to Israel is not complete without exploring the upper Galilee. The Hula Valley is an important resting place for birds migrating from Europe and Asia to Africa and back and Jeremiah 8:7 even mentions this annual event. Also in the area is the Tel Dan Reserve and entering the Reserve is like stepping into a wonderland of bubbling brooks and tall treetops reaching for the sky, their leaves and branches keeping the ground shady and refreshingly cool, even at noon on a hot summer’s day.  Ever wondered where one of the golden calves was worshipped during the days of Jeroboam? The overwhelmingly beautiful Banias reserve and waterfall are impressive places to spend time relaxing, refreshing and pondering on the Scriptures.Our day of water continues as we proceed to the Banias Falls. The Banias is where the ancient city of Caesarea Philippi was. This is where Peter declared that Yeshua is the Messiah.
