Lower Galilee:

The Lower Galilee is the area well known as the area where Jesus spent a lot of time ministering.   Probably the highlight of many tour members is boarding an ancient style boat at Tiberias and cruise to the area where Yeshua taught His first teachings.

The “Sermon on the Mountain”, as described by Matthew and Luke, is celebrated at the Mount of Beatitudes, and from there one can view and appreciate the geographic and social background of the Messiah’s activity in this region.  Kfar Nakhum (Capernaum) is the town where Yeshua chose to live and spread his teaching.
